My name is Leia. My first dad says I was named after a princess; my foster dad says, “No way!” I am a sassy red head. I like to play hard! I like to be loved on, but on my terms. When I first move in, I will probably take a few blood samples from you to make sure we are a good match. Please don’t be upset with me…. Patience works better.



 



I love wet food and occasionally like to stalk and eat bugs. I like to jump; this drives my foster dad CRAZY, but after two months I think he has given in….MOL (meow out loud). I am an indoor cat, but I will totally hang out on an enclosed porch with you and help catch bugs. If you choose to take me home, I pack light - one litter box and my favorite scratch post.  My foster dad loves me, but he travels all the time, and I really like to have quiet company.  It calms me down and makes me feel more comfortable and nicer.  Children and elderly folks on blood thinners are probably not the best match.



I sleep through the night and love to burrow under the covers next to you, but when that sun comes up, you better drag your sorry rump out of that bed and get busy with that food bowl!  I will cry loudly until you get it right. Did I mention I have a very very healthy meow box?  My foster dad said he would be happy to go over my “do’s” and “don’ts.” Please choose me and let me boss you around and run your life. XO
